CognivraX

Our origin

Built From the Inside Out.

CognivraX™ wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built by someone who lived inside the system, years in emergency waiting rooms, watching it strain against the people counting on it, and the people trying to hold it up.

The Story Behind CognivraX™

Sally Al-Rawi is an Iraqi-American refugee, psychology researcher, and caregiver who spent seven years inside a mental health system that too often failed the people it was meant to serve. She saw the system fail not just patients, but the practitioners absorbing everyone else's pain, with no tools built for their own regulation. That realization became CognivraX™,  a patent-pending, adaptive nervous system regulation platform built specifically for mental health practitioners experiencing burnout.

"You cannot heal a fragmented system with burned-out healers. I built CognivraX™ so the people caring for everyone else finally have something built for them." — Sally Al-Rawi, Founder & CEO, CognivraX™

The hypervigilance that makes a good clinician- the attunement, the constant tracking of someone else's state - takes a toll that rarely gets named. Burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary stress are not failures of resilience. They are what happens when the people holding everyone else together have no support built for their own nervous systems.

The founder saw this firsthand — not from the clinician's chair, but as a caregiver navigating the mental health system, watching practitioners run on empty while trying to help the people who needed them. That became a research question, then an Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved study on practitioner burnout, presented at national conferences including the American Psychological Association (APA). CognivraX™ fills the gap between sessions — support for practitioners, in the hours the work doesn't stop.

"CognivraX exists because those two truths shouldn't have to compete."

Sally Al-Rawi is an Iraqi-American refugee, psychology researcher, and caregiver who spent seven years navigating the mental health system alongside a loved one. She has conducted IRB-approved research on practitioner burnout and presented separate research at national conferences including the American Psychological Association (APA). What drives us

Our mission

To give mental health practitioners the same quality of nervous system support they spend their careers offering others - guided, evidence-informed, and built around the realities of clinical work.

Practitioners-first

Every design decision is filtered through one question: does this serve the person who just finished a six-hour caseload?

Evidence-grounded

Rooted in polyvagal theory, somatic research, and nervous system science — not wellness trends.

Honest about limits

CognivraX™ is a support tool, not a treatment. We say that clearly, and we mean it.

CognivraX™ starts with practitioners — the highest-leverage place to begin. The vision reaches further: toward consumers managing their own regulation, and underserved communities who have had the least access to care of any kind.

Join the practitioners already on the waitlist.

Early access opens to a small cohort of practitioners. Be among the first.
